If there’s one thing Londoners do well, it’s brunch. Come rain or shine, there’s no better start to the weekend than a bloody Mary and smashed avocado on toast. So, if you’re looking for somewhere new to go with the girls, we’ve whittled down our pick of the hottest new brunch spots. Here’s where we’ll be booking in for brunch this weekend…

Famed for their 24-hour breakfast spread, Duck & Waffle are spreading their wings into the West End, with their second venture, Duck & Waffle Local. Promising the same level of deliciousness as the original outpost, this central London gem will serve up a selection of breakfast and brunch dishes morning, noon and night. As well signature dishes – waffles with confit duck leg, topped with fried duck eggs and mustard maple syrup – there’ll be some new contenders including, the duck burger with crispy duck leg, crushed noodles, miso mayo and spiced ‘slaw; duck merguez flatbreads; and a selection of ‘little duck’ small plates – think fried duck gizzards; duck jam doughnut; and foie gras crème brûlée.
